UPDATE: Florida State most certainly did cover, scoring 80 points. Jesus.
I'm sure there are a bunch of media types out there that will have a HOT SPORTS TAKE on whether or not the whole Jameis Winston alleged sexual battery thing will have an effect on Florida State tomorrow against Idaho. Don't be stupid, it won't.
Florida State is favored by a ridiculous 57.5 against the Vandals, but that number could be too low given just how good FSU is and just how bad Idaho has been this season.
The Vandals come into this game at an underwhelming 1-9, coming off of a 59-38 home loss to Old Dominion, a team from the FCS. They are allowing over 45 points per game, despite only having played two ranked opponents, Fresno State and Northern Illinois, both non-BCS conference schools.
Sure, it's probably trendy to say that Florida State won't be hitting on all cylinders due to the distractions posed by the Winston circus, but to say that is to ignore just how large the disparity in talent is between these two teams.
To be honest, it'd be a bigger upset if Florida State failed to score 75 than if they failed to win by 58 or more.
